Our Linen Exchange is complimentary and occurs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you need to exchange your towels and linens, please place them in the laundry basket that is provided for you in one of the bedroom closets. Place your items to be exchanged in the basket and leave outside your door between hours of 9 am and 12 pm. Fresh Items will be left in the basket at your entry door. Before You Leave- Please take a moment to tidy up a bit. Housekeeping has limited time to clean units before the next guests check in. We strive to give excellent service and thank you for your help.

- Make sure all used dishes, pots, and pans are placed in the dishwasher and started.
- Pick up trash and place in trash chute located at the North end of each hallway.
- Please leave your villa in a tidy manner when checking out.

Emergency Management Team Information on Hurricanes
Hurricane season is from June 1st to November 30th each year. In the event a tropical storm or hurricane strikes this area, the following list of procedures must be adhered to. Please read carefully. If you have any questions about these procedures, please contact Guest Services.
Stay up to date by watching the local weather station or by listening to the radio. Be sure your gas tank is full and you have your evacuation route planned or emergency shelter selected.
Be prepared to leave immediately when the evacuation order is given. An evacuation map is available at Guest Services. Emergency shelters are available and their locations are usually announced on the radio or television. It is imperative for your safety and the safety of resort employees that you do not delay.
If mandatory evacuation becomes necessary, the management office and staff will notify all residents. Your cooperation in being prepared will help ensure a safe evacuation for all. We will assist you in any way possible, but remember that all employees have also been assigned duties to secure the building to keep damage to a minimum.
Since many of the resort staff lives off the beach, please remember that they also have families and possessions that need to be taken care of.
- Please bring all patio furniture into your unit, secure all sliding glass doors and close the blinds.
- All power, water, and gas will be shut off in the building shortly after the evacuation order is given. This means that if you are not ready to leave, there will be no lights or elevators to assist you. Do not attempt to stay in the building. You will only put yourself and the resort employees in danger.
- Remember, during an evacuation, thousands of people will be attempting to leave the beaches. Planning in advance will allow you to get to safety more quickly.

- Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
- Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Security and Resort Management.
- Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures. Ensure that they have knowledge of your villa number and location.
- Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight. The resort is a “Park at Your Own Risk” property.
Keys
- Keep track of your key(s) by keeping them with you at all times. Do not give your villa keys to others.
- Return your keys to the front desk at check out or drop your keys in any of our express check-out boxes conveniently located at the entrance of each building.
On and Off the Property
- Never leave your wallet, keys, purse, or other valuables unattended while at the pool.
- Ask our staff for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
- Instead of carrying cash, we recommend that you use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
- If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to Security and Resort Management.
- Always be aware of your surroundings. Pay attention to where you walk or park and make note of the time of day.
Fire Safety
- Upon arrival, please locate your fire extinguisher beneath the kitchen counter.
- Locate the fire exits (inside and outside your villa). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
- Familiarize everyone in your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place. That way, you can account for everyone in your group.
- Ensure that people responsible for key cards keep their cards with them at all times.
- Add the external resort phone number (386.788.1000) to your cell phone contacts.
- To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
- First call: The fire department (8 + 911, or 911 on your cell phone).
- Second call: Security, dial 0. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
- If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit. If outside, evacuate to a location that provides a safe distance between yourself, your family and the location of the fire.
- If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
- If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed-upon meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm by pulling a pull-station.
- Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
- If you cannot leave your room, crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide and smoke.
- If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
- Turn off the air-conditioner.
- Fill the bathtub with water.
- Place wet sheets around the door-jam. Block/cover any vents that are emitting smoke.
- Open the windows ONLY if you are certain you are letting in fresh air.
- If the walls are hot, fill your ice bucket and bail them with water to cool.
- If there is smoke in your villa, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
- DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise, continue the actions described above and signal from your window for help.

Our Wi-Fi is through Pinnacle and is complimentary for the basic services. To use in room Internet you may connect to the service either via the Wi-Fi connection or the provided Ethernet cable. Guests on the 1st and 2nd floor may be able to pick up the Wi-Fi signal, but it is unlikely that past the 2nd floor a strong enough Wi-Fi signal will be present.
