Open the top and pour water in the resevoir in the back right. Put filter and coffee in the basket. Turn knob to ‘Brew’ and push On/Off button.Dishwasher
Open dishwasher; fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dishwashing powder and slide closed. Close and lock front door and turn knob to desired wash. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.Garbage Disposal
Run water and turn on the garbage disposal switch located on the wall behind the sink. Do not put your fingers into the drain/disposal. Do not put metal, glass, bones, tobacco, eggshells or greasy items into the disposal.Hair Dryer

To make ice, lower the handle for electronic ice makers. Make sure the switch is up to the 1, not the 0Iron
Fill with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floor.Microwave
Select desired temperature and minutes then press start. Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside the microwave.Oven

Our activities department provides a variety of free and fee based acitivities. Please review the weekly schedule and offerings provided in your Welcome Package or at the Front Desk. Hours are varied based on season, activities are varied based on season. We do operate on a cashless basis. All charges can be applied to your unit or a credit card.Many items that you may need for your stay with us are available upon request. A few items are: toothbrushes, tooth paste, pots and pans, bowls and pitchers. This list is not all-inclusive so please feel free to ask for any item not listed.

Upon check-in, each reservation requires a major credit card for a $100 per-authorization for all check-ins. Our goal at Harbour Lights is to provide you a memorable vacation experience and should you need anything or feel that you want to address any issues during your stay, come to the front desk or dial 0.
Guest Services does not accept cash. Harbour Lights is a completely cashless resort. We do not accept cash or checks of any kind.Check-in: 4 pm

Should you lose your Key Card, please notify the Guest Services immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. For your safety and security, I.D. will be required to have a new key made. Please return your Key Card to Guest Services upon check-out.Parking
Upon arrival, you will receive a Parking Pass from Guest Services. Please display the pass inside your vehicle during your stay. Parking is available on site at no charge. Each unit is permitted to have one primary vehicle and one secondary vehicle. All secondary vehicles will be issued a secondary parking pass. As a courtesy to other guests please park all secondary vehicles in the secondary parking spaces marked with a green parking bumper. Trailer parking is available on site on a first come first serve basis for registered guests at Harbour Lights. No trailers larger than 12 Ft. in length will be permitted. RV parking is not Permitted on site.Pet Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Harbour Lights Resort unless they are registered as a service animal. But we do understand they are like family. Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding. If the presence of a pet(s) is detected, a $300 cleaning fee will be billed to your account.Smoking
We are a nonsmoking resort. Please refrain from smoking inside your unit or on your screened in porch. If the presence of smoke is detected, a $300 cleaning fee will be billed to your account.Trash Service
Please place your trash in the appropriate receptacles on the first floor of each building; please do not place trash outside your unit.Recycling
We are happy to participate in our local recycling program. Bags are located in your unit, please deposit the recycle items in the bag and leave in your unit upon departure. Our team will retrieve and recycle the items for you.Parking on site, no charge, one primary pass and one secondary/visitors pass per reservation. RV parking is not permitted. Please be aware that a car show in the month of March and multiple motorcycle festivals in the month of May could present parking issues and additional traffic congestion. Please call resort ahead of arrival for details on parking arrangements. In addition, the resort may have contact information for offsite facilities available for boat, trailer, or motorcycle parking.

Pool | 9 am – 10 pm
We have 3 pools/spas and a lazy river for your enjoyment. The indoor pool/spa is located at the Clubhouse. An outdoor pool/spa and lazy river are also locatd at the Clubhouse. There is also an outdoor pool/spa located next to Knot’s Bar & Grill behind buildings 13, 14, and 15.
There is no lifeguard on duty, and adults must supervise children. For safety, absolutely no glass bottles or containers are allowed on the pool deck. Safety equipment and life preservers should never be used for play. Swim diapers are required on all children not potty trained.Pool Towels are available at the Clubhouse Activities Desk for use during your stay. Please leave towels in your unit upon departure. We have pool towels available to purchase at the Clubhouse at $25/towel. Towels not left in unit are subject to charge, $25/towel.
Game Room | 8 am – 10 pm
Located in the Clubhouse. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Video Games operate on a token system and a token machine is available.Fitness Room | 8 am – 10 pm
Located in the Clubhouse. The fitness room is accessible with your room key. Adults only, must be 16 years of age and older. Equipment includes an exercise bike, treadmill, universal strength machine and elliptical trainer. Consult your physician prior to beginning any exercise program. Harbour Lights also offers a limited number of daily passes for the XGym located just minutes from the resort. The XGym Sports Mall offers treadmills, strength machines, elliptical trainers , tanning,Gift Shop | 9 am – 10 pm
Located in the Clubhouse. Souvenirs and sundries like candy, newspapers, beach items, hats and shirts are available for purchase.

- Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
- Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Security or Resort Manager.
- Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures.
- Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight.
Keys
- Keep track of your key by keeping it with you at all times. Do not give it to others.
- Return your key to Guest Services at your check-out time.
On and Off the Property
- Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended while at the pool.
- Ask our associates for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
- Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
- If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to management.
- Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.
Fire Safety
- Upon arrival please locate your fire extinguisher. It can be found beneath the kitchen counter.
- Locate the fire alarm and all exits (inside and outside your villa). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
- Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group.
- Ensure that all Key Card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
- Add the external resort phone number (843.236.4800) to your cellphone contacts.
- To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
- First call: The fire department (direct dial 911 from your unit phone, or 911 on your cellphone).
- Second call: Guest Service desk, ext. 0. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
- If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit.
- If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
- If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed upon meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm.
- Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
- Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide.
If you can not leave your room please follow these steps:
- If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
- The windows at Harbour Lights DO NOT open, however; in case of a fire break the window and hang a sheet outside of it. This will notify the fire department that there is someone in the room.
- Turn off the air-conditioner.
- Place wet sheets around the doorjamb. Block any vents that are emitting smoke.
- If the walls are hot, splash them with water. Use your ice bucket to cool them.
- If there is smoke in your suite, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
- DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.
