Air Conditioner
Press On\Off and press left or right for desired temperature. Please do not set the A\C below 70 degrees F. Do not operate the air conditioner and the fireplace at the same time.

Alarm Clock
To set the alarm, press and hold the sleep button then set the time you want the alarm to sound. Slide the alarm selector to Radio or Buzzer.

Dishwasher
Open dishwasher; fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dishwashing powder and slide closed. Close and lock front door and turn knob to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.

Hair Dryer
Remove hair dryer from enclosed bag in bathroom drawer. Plug into the wall. Move lever to low or high. Press and hold down cool button for cold air.

Ice Maker
Push interior switch on ice box. Green light indicates ice maker is turned on. Please be aware that it may take a few hours to cycle and make ice. For your convenience, ice machines are available on the first floor.

Iron
Fill with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floor.

Microwave
Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside the microwave. Select desired temperature and minutes then press start.

2 Burner Range Stove
Control Knobs to heat pots and pans to desired temperature. Heat indicators will glow orange thru darkened glass. To decrease the risk of getting burned please exercise caution. Once stove is turned off please allow a minimum of 45 minutes before touching or attempting to clean glass surface as it will still be hot.

Garbage Disposal
Run water and turn on the garbage disposal switch located on the wall behind the sink. Do not put your fingers into the drain/disposal. Do not put metal, glass, bones, tobacco, eggshells or greasy items into the disposal.

Washer and Dryer
Clothes Washers and Dryers are provided as a courtesy for all our guests in common areas at the end of the hallway of 2nd and 4th floors for your convenience. Detergent is located in villa. Be careful not to overload the machine. Open door and load dryer with clothes. Set the dryer and press the start button to begin. Clean the lint trap after each use (located on the inside back wall of the dryer).

Concierge Services
Concierge Services can be found in the lobby area. The associate on duty will be pleased to assist with purchasing attraction tickets and making dinner recommendations.

Copy and fax services are available at Guest Services.

Please contact Guest Services by dialing 0 to schedule a wake-up call.

Lost and Found
For articles lost or found, please contact Guest Services.

Mail and Messages
Mail received at the resort may be collected by either calling or stopping by Guest Services. For telephone messages, follow the instructions on your in-room telephone plate. You can drop outgoing mail at Guest Services.

Transportation
Call Guest Services at Ext. 0 to arrange transportation to local area attractions.

Our Housekeeping Department takes great pride in the quality of their work in your room. We are dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.  If for any reason our cleanliness does not meet your satisfaction, please call Guest Services at extension 0, so that we may correct any deficiencies. Additional supplies and towel are provided free of charge. Please call 0 and we will be happy to assist you with your needs.

Upon check in, each reservation requires a major credit card for a $100 per-authorization.

Key Card

Should you lose your Key Card, please notify the Guest Services immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. For your safety and security, I.D. will be required to have a new key made. Please return your Key Card to the front desk upon check-out.

Parking

Upon arrival, you will receive a Parking Pass from Guest Services. Please display the pass inside your vehicle during your stay. Parking is available on site at no charge. One vehicle per unit. Limited trailer parking onsite—first come, first serve basis.

Pet Policy

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Harbour Lights. But we do understand they are like family. Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding.

Smoking
We are completely a nonsmoking resort.

Bluegreen Odyssey Dells offers the following amenities:

Fitness Room
7 a.m – 10 p.m.
Located on the first floor of Bluegreen Odyssey Dells. The fitness room is accessible with your room key. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Equipment includes an exercise bike, treadmill, universal strength machine and elliptical trainer. Consult your physician prior to beginning any exercise program.

Inside Your Villa

• Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
• Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Guest Services or Manager.
• Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures.
• Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight.

Keys

• Keep track of your key by keeping it with you at all times. Do not give it to others.
• Return your key to Guest Services at your check-out time.

On and Off the Property

• Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended while at the pool.
• Ask our associates for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
• Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
• If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to management.
• Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.

Fire Safety

• Upon arrival please locate your fire extinguisher. It can be found beneath the kitchen counter.
• Locate the fire alarm and all exits (inside and outside your villa). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
• Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group.
• Ensure that all Key Card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
• Add the external resort phone number (608.253.2015) to your cellphone contacts.
• To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
• First call: The fire department (9 + 911, or 911 on your cellphone).
• Second call: Guest Service desk, ext. 0. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
• If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit.
• If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
• If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed-on meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm.
• Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
• Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide.

If you can not leave your room please follow these steps:

• If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
• The windows at Bluegreen Odyssey Dells DO NOT open, however; in case of a fire break the window and hang a sheet outside of it. This will notify the fire department that there is someone in the room.
• Turn off the air-conditioner.
• Place wet sheets around the doorjamb. Block any vents that are emitting smoke.
• If the walls are hot, bail them with water. Use your ice bucket to cool them.
• If there is smoke in your suite, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
• DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.

Your vacation villa includes the following amenities:

Cable TV: Press the power button on the television or remote. Press the channel up or down.

Coffee Maker: Open lid, add coffee packet and close lid. Turn the dial to brew. Press the On/Off button. Empty entire contents of coffee packet (provided) and close lid. Lift the back opening and fill with water. Press On/Off.

VCR/DVD player: Set TV channel to input AV. Make sure DVD player is on. Load disc and hit play.
