In Room Safes
Safes are located in the hall or bedroom closet. To operate the safe, please follow these instructions:

1. Place items to be secured into the safe. Do not over fill the safe, but make sure the door shuts easily.
2. Close the door and hold shut.
3. Enter any 4 digit code and press “#”.

The safe will display “-CLOSE-“as the motor is locking the door. When door is completely closed, the safe will display “CLOSEd”.

To open the Safe:

1. Enter the same 4 digit code. The safe will display “-OPEN-“, this indicates the safe door is unlocking, the safe will display “OPENEd” when you are able to open the safe door.
2. After 4 wrong attempts to open the safe within 15 minutes, if you cannot remember the code, the safe will enter the HOLD status for 15 minutes. The display will show “Hold15”. The safe on hold cannot be overridden; you will need to contact the front desk during normal working hours 8am to 6pm to manually open the safe.

*Note: Simply pressing the # button will not secure or lock the safe, you must enter your 4 digit code to lock the safe.

Internet Service
The wireless internet access is provided FREE of charge by Resort Sixty-Six to the registered guests.
How to get connected to the internet:

1. Turn on your Wi-Fi capable device. (Some laptops have a switch to turn on the Wireless)
2. Locate your “wireless network connections”.
3. Connect to signal “Resort66“
4. Open Internet browser (chrome; Safari, Ect)
5. The Brighthouse Login password is 6600

If you are not immediately redirected to the Brighthouse Login Page; type Google.com into your address bar at the top of the page, you will then be redirected.

In an effort to conserve Florida’s natural resources Resort Sixty-Six is Going Green! The Florida Green Lodging Program is unique in that it covers an all-inclusive list of environmental initiatives that are specific to the Florida environment. Here at resort Sixty-six we have many Green practices already in place, which give you the oportunity to participate as well.

Water Conservation

We lave low flow faucets, toilets, and shower heads in all units. We also offer a towel and linen reuse program. A towel on the rack means you will reuse it, but; if you should need clean towels, leave the towels to be exchanged on the floor and Housekeeping will change them out daily. Linens are changed mid-week during a full week stay or upon request for an extra charge. you an help us conserve water by reusing your towels and linens.

Energy Efficiency

We use high efficiency compact fluorescent bulbs for the interior and exterior unit lighting and are in the process of converting LED lighting wherever possible. All of our units have double paned windows and lighting in staff areas is motion controlled. You can help us stay energy efficient by turning off all lights, appliances, and by turning up the A/C thermostat when leaving your room.

Recycling

Recyclable materials are newspapers, magazines, aluminum and steel cans, office paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass. Eco-friendly recycling bags are provided in the units and the recycle bins are located on the pool deck and also in front of Housekeeping.

Other Green Options

We also have a compost bin and an herb garden for guest use. Both are located in the recycling area in front of Housekeeping. A list of compostable materials is posted on the bin itself.

Any suggestions or feedback you may have for us on our Green practices is greatly appreciated. Please take a minute to fill out the Green Survey, located in the Front Office. Return the survey to a Guest Services Associate and it will be reviewed at the next Green Team meeting.

The staff at Resort Sixty-Six is dedicated to delivering one-of-a-kind vacation experiences. Our Guest Services team are available daily from 8 am – 6 pm and are happy to help you with questions, concerns, local attractions and more. After Hour Emergencies
Your safety and security is our highest priority. Please make sure your door is securely locked when you leave. For resort, emergencies after office hours please call our nighttime security service at 1-904-253-0287 from 6 pm – 6 am. Please state that you are on Anna Maria Island, at Resort Sixty-Six and the emergency you have encountered. Someone will be dispatched to assist you. Emergencies are considered lockouts, fires, flood etc. Non-emergencies will be handled the following morning.

Airline Boarding Passes
Please bring your confirmation information to the Guest Services and the associate will print out your boarding passes.

Loss Prevention
Please help us protect your property. We suggest that you do not leave any valuables such as jewelry, cash, traveler’s checks, securities, etc. in your room. We will not assume responsibility for stolen articles.

Lost and Found
Contact the Front Desk at extension “0” or “200” for inquiries.

Parking Permit
Each registered unit will receive one parking permit upon check-in; any vehicles in our parking lot without a permit will be subject to towing at owners’ expense. Boats, trailers or R.V.’s are not allowed in the parking lot.

Mail and Postage
Mail may be dropped off in the box outside the Front Desk.

Messages
A flashing light on your telephone indicates a message is waiting while the phone is not in use.
See the “Telephone Instructions” for how to retrieve your messages.

Newspapers
Local newspapers are complimentary in the Guest Laundry.

Our Housekeeping Department takes great pride in the quality of their work in your unit. We are dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

If, for any reason, our cleanliness does not meet your satisfaction, please call the Front Office at Ext. 0 or 200, so that we may correct any deficiencies.

Resort Sixty-Six is participating in an effort to help conserve water and provide you with a more environmentally friendly resort we offer you the option of reusing your towels and linens.

We do provide a complimentary daily towel service including towel replacement and trash removal between 10 am and 4 pm. To help conserve water, we will only replace the towels that are left on the floor.  A “Towel on the rack” means you will use it again.

Guests staying six days will receive a maid service preformed between 10 am and 4 pm on Tuesdays for units 100 thru 112 and on Wednesdays for units 213 thru 227. Maid Service will consist of trash removal, wiping down bathroom surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming, changing sheets and towels. Housekeeping will not remove personal items from surfaces so, if you would like this service please remove your items prior to 10 am on your assigned day.

Please let the Front Office know if you would not like to receive linen change or towel service during your stay by dialing Ext. 0. If you would like to receive an additional maid service for a small fee during your stay, then there is a $40.00 per visit charge payable in advance. Please dial Ext. 0 or 200 to arrange for these services.

Thank you for choosing to spend your vacation with us. We hope you enjoy your stay and take away many cherished memories to reminisce about for years to come. One of our top goals during your stay is your safety and that of your loved ones. Should a child or dependent adult become lost or missing, we would like you to be aware of the proper steps to take. The quicker you act, the better the chances of a faster recovery.

Code Adam
Code Adam is a nationally recognized missing child safety program in the United States and thousands of department stores, retail shops, shopping malls, supermarkets, amusement parks, and museums volunteer in the program. The program was named Code Adam in memory of a young child, Adam Walsh, who in 1981 was abducted from a Sears department store in Florida. Adam’s father is John Walsh, a co-founder of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and host of the television show “Americas Most Wanted.” Bluegreen is proud to add its name to the long list of those participating.

Your Course of Action
If you believe that your child is missing, do not panic, but do take action immediately. Search the area checking for crawl or hiding places. Children think hiding is a game and hiding places are limitless in the mind of a child.

If you still cannot find your child after a thorough search, call the front desk at __0__ and report him/her missing. If it is between the hours or 6:00 pm and 8:00 am please call the police immediately at 9-911.
You will be asked to provide the following information:

• Your name, unit number and cell phone number
• Child’s name, sex, age, hair color, eye color
• Child’s approximate height and weight

Be prepared to report to management to provide additional information if needed.

The concierge has already been instructed to immediately contact local law enforcement during office hours of 8 am and 6 pm as soon as they receive the report of a missing child. They will request assistance and provide local law enforcement with all the information you have given them.

We hope this encounter will never take place, but would like you to know what the appropriate steps to take are, and that Bluegreen will be with you every step of the way.

Key Card
Should you lose your Key Card, please notify the Guest Services immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. For your safety and security, I.D. will be required to have a new key made. Please return your Key Card to Guest Services upon check-out.

Parking
On site, no charge, one vehicle per villa

Pet Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed unless they are registered as a service animal.  But we do understand they are like family.  Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding.  If the presence of a pet(s) is detected, a $300 cleaning fee will be billed to your account.

Smoking
Please refrain from smoking inside your unit. You are however, allowed to smoke outside of your unit or in the designated smoking areas, which are defined by the easily located ash cans. If the presence of smoke is detected, a $100 cleaning fee will be billed to your account.

Resort Sixty-Six is pleased to offer a variety of resort amenities to make your vacation experience even more enjoyable.

Swimming Pool and Spa | 9 am – 10 pm 
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty, swimming is at your own risk. Adults must supervise children under the age of 14 at all times. For safety, absolutely no glass bottles or containers are allowed on the pool deck. Safety equipment and life preservers should never be used for play.

Books
There is also a selection of books in the Guest Laundry that you may borrow, or trade for one that you have just finished reading.

Internet Service
The wireless Internet access is provided FREE of charge by Resort Sixty-Six to the registered guests.

Gas Grills
The gas grills are located in the courtyard area. BBQ grills are available on a first-come first-served basis. Please return the grill to its original condition when finished.

Laundry Facilities
Our laundry facilities are located two doors down from the office on the first floor. The machines are free for guest use.

Games and Movies 
The front office has several board games and movies that you may check out at no charge during office hours (8 am – 6 pm). Please come in to see a full list of what is available.

We urge you to adhere to these basic rules. Please brief everyone in your party as to the following Resort Sixty-Six Rules and Regulations.

• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the pool, spa and pool area.
• Children under the age of 5 may not be in the spa.  It is recommended by the Health Department that because of the high temperature of the spa that no small children be allowed in the spa at any time.
• Infants and toddlers in diapers must wear “swimmers” when in the pool.
• Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am Please respect the rights of others.
• The pool and Jacuzzi are open from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm
• Glass containers of any kind are not permitted at the spa, pool or pool area.
• No inflatable objects are allowed in the pool.
• You may not reserve pool furniture by placing a towel on it.  Pool chairs are to be kept on the pool deck.
• Hanging towels or other items over the walk-way railings is prohibited.
• Please do not block the walkways outside your units with coolers, chairs, toys, drying racks, etc.
• Minimum age requirements for Check-In: 18 years old for deeded owners and 21 years old for all others.
• Maximum unit occupancy limits: Studio (2) individuals, one bedroom (4) individuals, two bedroom (6) individuals.
• No pets allowed. If a pet is found it must be removed and a $150 fumigation fee will be assessed.
• In order to maintain an even cooling temperature in your unit on warm days, and to avoid air conditioning problems, please set the thermostat to no lower than 72° Fahrenheit, the air conditioning unit will freeze up, and will cause damage to the equipment.  Please keep doors and windows closed when using the air conditioning.
• Non-registered owners wishing to use the Resort’s recreational facilities other than during a reserved or scheduled week must call the Resort for approval prior to arriving for Day Use because Day Use may be restricted or denied during high occupancy periods, holidays, or event weeks.  After receiving approval, you must stop at the Front Desk and register before using your Day Use Privileges.
• All trash being disposed of using a rolling cart must use the back alley to the dumpster.

Welcome to your home away from home. Vacation is a time for fun and relaxation; however, just like at your home, safety and security begins with you. It is our goal that your time spent with us is enjoyable, which also means feeling safe and secure. Here are a few safety tips we’d like you to follow:

Inside Your Villa

• Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
• Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Security or Resort Manager.
• Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures.
• Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight.

Keys

• Keep track of your key by keeping it with you at all times. Do not give it to others.
• Return your key to Guest Services at your check-out time.

On and Off the Property

• Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended while at the pool.
• Ask our associates for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
• Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
• If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to management during office hours. After office hours please call our nighttime security at 1-904-253-0287, 6PM to 6AM.

• Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.

Fire Safety

• We feel it is still very important for you and your family to be mindful of what precautions to take should an emergency arise. Plan your escape!

Upon Arrival

• If you have questions or concerns, contact the Resort Front Desk or Manager.
• Be aware of where the fire extinguisher is located in your unit hall closet.
• Make sure you know how to turn off your air conditioner.
• Keep your unit key card at hand at all times.

In Case of Fire

• Remain calm. If the fire is beyond control, please evacuate immediately. Your safety is our main concern. The smoke detector sounds only in your unit and is not hooked up to a central system.
• First notify the fire department (8-911) and then notify the Resort Front Desk. Identify your name and location, with a brief description of the situation.
• Touch your unit door. IF IT IS HOT, DO NOT OPEN IT.
• If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to quickly close it if there are flames or smoke on the other side.
• If you are able to leave your unit, take your key, close the door behind you proceed to the safest place. Predetermine a meeting place so you will know all of your family is safe.
• Use the nearest stairwell. There is a stairwell located at each of the far ends of the building.
• Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to smoke or odorless carbon monoxide.
• If you stay in your unit, make every effort to notify someone that you/your family are inside. If normal
• communications to 911 or the resort is not available, signal to them by hanging a sheet from your window. Turn
• off the air conditioner and fill the bathtub with water. Place wet sheets and towels around the door jam. Block any
• vents that are emitting smoke. Only open the windows if you are sure you are letting in fresh air. If walls are hot,
• soak them with water to cool them.
• If there is smoke in your villa, stay as low as possible and keep a wet cloth over your nose and mouth.
• Do not jump. A fall from the upper floors can cause serious injury; Rather, continue to protect yourself from
• the fire and signal from your window for help.
• If you are in a public area when a fire starts, calmly leave through the nearest exit.

See the “Instructions on Appliances” for instructions on how to operate. Do not set the temperature below 72 degrees F, as it will freeze the A/C unit.

For your convenience, we provide each unit a starter pack of coffee.

Cable TV
All one-bedroom units are equipped with two television sets and two bedrooms have three televisions. Every unit is also equipped with a DVD player. Please do not unplug or move equipment. Should your remote not work, please contact Guest Services at Ext. O.
