Air conditioner
Press the On/Off and set to your desired temperature. Do not set the A/C temperature below 70 F as it may cause the A/C to stop working. If any door is ajar, the air conditioner will turn off automatically.

Alarm Clock
Before setting the time, make sure no audio is playing through the FM radio or Soundflow by pressing the Off button, then press and hold Set Al 1 to Set Alarm 1. Press < Clock Tuning or Clock Tuning > to set the alarm time. Press and hold < Clock Tuning or Clock Tuning > to decrease or increase the time value quickly. To confirm this alarm time, press Set Al 1. Follow the same steps to Set Alarm 2.

Blender
While unplugged, set blender container into base, place liquid or soft ingredients into blender and place the lid on securely. Plug in & press the desired settings on the panel to start.

Coffee Maker
Open top cover of coffee maker. Pour desired amount of water in water reservoir. Water level indicator is on the side of the coffee maker. Put coffee filter in filter basket. Add 1 tbsp ground coffee per cup in coffee basket. Close coffee maker cover. Make sure pot cover is on before placing the coffee pot on the heating plate. Turn the knob to “Brew”. Press On/Off button and the red light indicator will turn on.

Clothes Washer
The washing machine is located in the vending machine area in the North Building and the common area next to the Front Office in the South Building. Lift lid and pour the desired amount of detergent (1 detergent pack per load). load machine with clothes (Do not overload). Set load size and then set desired wash/rinse temperatures. Push in knob and scroll to desired settings and pull to start to wash. Additional detergent is available at the Guest Services desk.

Clothes Dryer
The dryer is located in the vending machine area in the North Building and the common area next to the Front Office in the South Building. Be careful not to overload the machine. Open door and load dryer with clothes. Set the dryer and press the start button to begin. Clean the lint trap after each use (located on the inside front wall of the dryer).

Dishwasher (if applicable)
Fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dishwashing powder or tabs provided and slide closed. Close door and turn button to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.

Fire Extinguisher

Located under the kitchen sink or (3) located in the outside hallways on each floor.

Hair Dryer
Hair Dryer can be found underneath the bathroom sink. Switch hairdryer to ‘Hi’ or ‘Low’.

Ice Maker (if applicable)
To make ice, make sure the switch is “on”. Then lower the handle for electronic ice makers. Make sure the switch is up to the 1, not the 0

Iron
Fill with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floor.

Microwave
Do not place foil, metal or plastic inside the microwave. Select a temperature, desired minutes and press start. Refer to the inside of the microwave door for further instructions on how to operate.

Oven (if applicable)
Place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside the oven). Turn knobs to set desired temperature and press start. For timed cook, press cook time, press hour button up/down, and press start time up/down.

Shower
Twist the handle to desired water temperature. Pull the knob above the waterspout to turn the shower on.

Toaster
Place toast or bagel into slots. Set desired color and push down lever. Toast will automatically pop up when ready.

Upon check-in, each reservation requires a major credit card. Guest Services does not accept cash.

Check-in: 4 pm or after

Check-out: 10 am or before

Key Card
Should you lose your Key Card, please notify the Guest Services immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. For your safety and security, I.D. will be required to have a new key made. Please return your Key Card to the front desk upon check-out. Please keep your keys away from cell phones for the keys may get de-coded and new ones would need to be made.

Parking
Parking is limited to one parking pass per room. Please have parking pass visible in vehicle at all times when on property. Violators may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Pet Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at The Breakers Resort. But we do understand they are like family. Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding.

Smoking
We are a nonsmoking resort.

A $300.00 Cleaning Fee will be applied if smell or evidence of smoke or pets is present in unit.

The Breakers Resort is pleased to offer a variety of resort amenities to make your vacation experience even more enjoyable.

Outdoor Heated Pool
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. No glass containers are permitted in the pool or pool
deck area. Please be aware there is no lifeguard on duty.

Computers
Located in the lobby. One courtesy computers is available for guest use.

BBQ Grills
BBQ grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please return grill area
to its original condition when finished.

Vending Machines
Located in the guest laundry area in our South building and also in our North building.

Inside Your Villa

• Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
• Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Security or Resort Manager.
• Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures.
• Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight. The resort is a “Park at Your Own Risk” property.

Keys

• Keep track of your key(s) by keeping them with you at all times. Do not give your villa keys to others.
• Return your key to Guest Services when you check out or drop your keys in any of our express check-out boxes conveniently located in the garage entrance/exit.

On and Off the Property

• Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended while at the pool.
• Ask our associates for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
• Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
• If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to Security and Resort Management.
• Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.

Fire Safety

• Upon arrival please locate your fire extinguisher. It can be found beneath the kitchen counter.
• Locate the fire alarm and all exits (inside and outside your villa). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
• Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group. The back parking deck is recommended.
• Ensure that all Key Card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
• Add the external resort phone number (508.394.6561) to your cellphone contacts.
• To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
• First call: The fire department (8 + 911, or 911 on your cellphone).
• Second call: Guest Service desk, ext. 0 or 1500. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
• If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit.
• If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
• If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed upon meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm.
• Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
• Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide.

If you can not leave your room please follow these steps:

• If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your balcony handrail.
• Turn off the air-conditioner.
• Place wet sheets around the doorjamb. Block any vents that are emitting smoke.
• Open the windows ONLY if you are certain you are letting in fresh air.
• If the walls are hot, splash them with water. Use your ice bucket to cool them.
• If there is smoke in your villa, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
• DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.
