The Fountains

Air conditioner
Press the “Mode” button and set to your desired temperature. Do not set the A/C/ temperature below 70 F as it may cause the A/C to stop working. If any door is ajar, the air conditioner will turn off automatically.

Clothes Washer
Be careful not to overload the machine. Use one small pouch of detergent per load. Set desired Wash/Rinse temperatures. Turn the knob, to desired settings, then push “START” to start the wash.

Clothes Dryer
Please clean the lint trap after each use. Turn knob to select cycle and push “START” to start dryer.

Dishwasher
Fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dish washing powder or tabs provided and slide closed. Close door and turn button to desired wash. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.

Garbage Disposal: Run water and turn on the garbage disposal switch located on the wall behind the sink. Do not put your fingers into the drain/disposal. Do not put metal, glass, bones, tobacco, eggshells or greasy items into the disposal.

Ice Maker
To make ice, place the switch to the on position. To turn off ice maker, place the switch to the off position.

Iron
Fill with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floor.

Microwave
Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside the microwave. Select a temperature between 1 and 11, enter desired minutes and press start. For automatic time, press cook-time, press hour button up/down, and press start time up/down.

Oven
Place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside the oven). Turn knobs to set desired temperature and press start. For timed cook, press cook time, press hour button up/down, and press start time up/down.

Fire Extinguisher
Locate the fire extinguisher (located underneath the counter in the kitchen in most villas, or inside the utility room with washer and dryer in other units). Pull the pin and squeeze handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire. CALL 911

• All Day Use owner’s will be verified to be in good standing.   
• A valid photo ID, completion of a registration card (signature on the registration card for security) and signed Day Use Policy is required. Once complete, owner will be allowed access.  
• A total of FOUR (4) guests will be allowed per visit, per day, including owner. Day use is intended for the owner and his/her immediate family only.  
• No radios are allowed in the pool area as the resort provides music through a speaker system.  
• All posted Pool and Hot Tub safety regulations must be observed and always followed.  
• Owner parking is available free of charge for ONE (1) car total per day.  
• Owners will be given a wristband and amenity key to gain access to the pool. 
• Day Use Pass may be confiscated at any time if rules are not followed.  
• Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. The Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries to our guests, or the loss or damage of personal property.

The Fountains does not offer daily Housekeeping services. Complementary refresh of towels and sheets can be requested by dialing 0 or visiting Guest Services. For Guests staying 8 nights or longer one complementary mid-stay clean can be requested.

Luggage carts are available on the first floor of every building. Please return them to the first floor after use.

Parking
Upon arrival, you will receive a Parking Pass from Guest Services. Please display the pass inside your vehicle during your stay. Parking is available around each resort building. On site parking is complimentary. One vehicle per unit. Resort prohibits parking of boats, RVs and trailers. Resort offers shuttle service to theme parks. Inquire at check-in for scheduling and pricing.

Pet Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at The Fountains, however, we do understand they are like family. Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding. If pets are reported in your unit you will be subject to a $300 cleaning fee.

Smoking
All units are non-smoking. A designated smoking area is located at Water’s Edge and Wakoola Springs Pool.

Credit and Debit Card Information
We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa; a major credit card is required upon registration. If using a debit card an authorization hold is placed on your account, and is not the same as a credit card authorization. After checkout it may take several days, depending on your financial institution, to be released.

Adults can relax while the kids make a splash at the Children’s Pool. The inviting crystal-clear water will provide hours of entertainment. Make sure everyone soaking up fun in the sun wears plenty of sunscreen.

Come and cool off at our famous Bluegreen’s Wakoola Springs Pool. This 75,000-square-foot tropical oasis sets itself apart from an everyday pool with two twisting water slides, a zero-entry pool, interactive water fountains and two hot tubs.

Join us by Water’s Edge, our indoor/outdoor pool for a refreshing beverage and order some lunch while you relax by the pool. We offer a variety of appetizers, entrees and our great Island Oasis® Daiquiri’s in a variety of flavors. Located at the clubhouse—lower level by our indoor pool area.

An ATM is located on the lobby level in the Clubhouse.

BBQ Grills 
Enjoy a cookout at one of our gas or charcoal grills located along the promenade behind buildings 2,3,4,6, and 7. Please use the red phones located next to each grill to request them to be lit. Grill utensils are available at the Activities Center or from Front Desk after hours.

Fitness Center
Located in the Clubhouse and first floor of Building 1. Offering a selection of cardiovascular and weight machines to keep you fit for a day at the pool. Consult your physician prior to beginning any exercise program.

Fire Circles – Enjoy the ambiance at one of our two fire circles located behind Building 2 and Building 7.

Fishing – Natural Lake Eve offers catch and release. Fishing rods and bait can be purchased at the Activities Center, 3rd floor of the Clubhouse.

Fitness Center – Located on the bottom floor of the Clubhouse and first floor of Building 1. No one under the age of 16 is permitted to use any fitness equipment. Proper attire is required. Consult your doctor before beginning an exercise program.

Fitness Trail – Located on your resort map is our Moonstone Trail. Distance of Fitness Trail – ½ mile. Use this pathway at any time day or night for a great workout!

Soleil Spa – Start your vacation off the right way and let our team of massage therapists ease you back to health and wellness. Inside Your Villa

• Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
• Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Security and Resort Management.
• Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures. Ensure that they have knowledge of your villa number and location.
• Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight. The resort is a “Park at your own risk” property.
• Beware of solicited pizza flyer’s left at your villa door, as The Fountains is not affiliated with these businesses.

Keys

• Keep track of your key(s) by keeping them with you at all times. Do not give your villa keys to others.
• Return your keys to Guest Services at check out or drop your keys in any of our express check-out boxes conveniently located at the entrance of each building.

On and Off the Property

• Never leave your wallet, keys, purse, or other valuables unattended while at the pool.
• Ask our staff for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
• Instead of carrying cash, we recommend that you use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
• If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to Security and Resort Management.
• Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Always be aware of your surroundings.

Fire Safety

• Upon arrival, please locate your fire extinguisher beneath the kitchen counter.
• Locate the fire exits (inside and outside your suite). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
• Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group.
• Ensure that all key card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
• Add the external resort phone number (407.905.4100) to your cell phone contacts.
• To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
• First call: The fire department (9 + 911, or 911 on your cell phone).
• Second call: Security, ext. 4190. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
• If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit. If outside, evacuate to a location that provides a safe distance between yourself, your family and the location of the fire.
• If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
• If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed-upon meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm by pulling a pull-station.
• Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
• Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide and smoke.

If you cannot leave your room please follow these steps

• If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
• Turn off the air-conditioner.
• Fill the bathtub with water.
• Place wet sheets around the door-jam. Block/Cover any vents that are emitting smoke.
• Open the windows ONLY If you are certain you are letting in fresh air.
• If the walls are hot, bail them with water. Use your ice bucket to cool them.
• If there is smoke in your suite, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
• DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.
