Air Thermostat
Select system for heat or cold and press up or down for desired temperature. To circulate air, select fan or select auto for temperature as needed. Do not turn A/C below 70 degrees as it may cause it to malfunction and stop working. Do not leave any doors open as this will cause the air conditioner to malfunction.

Alarm Clock
To set the alarm, press and hold volume until the display time blinks, release hold and use clock tuning buttons to set alarm to desired time.

Blender
Place blender container in base, add liquid or soft ingredients into blender and put the lid on securely. Press the desired settings on the panel to start.

Coffee Maker
Open top of coffee maker. Place pack of coffee provided for 10 cups in basket, fill reservoir located on the right side of the coffee maker with water and close lid. Set knob on BREW and push in for ON. To open, (unlock) the top of coffee carafe, turn lid to the right; to close (lock) the top of the coffee carafe, turn lid to the left.

Washing Machine
Set washer to desired level of wash, select desired temperature of water with knob, select desired water level with knob, close the lid and pull the knob out.

Dryer
Select desired dry mode and press auto dry.

Fireplace (In select units)
Turn timer clockwise to desired time setting.

Dishwasher
Open; place dishes on racks, fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dishwashing powder and slide closed. Close front door and turn button to desired wash. Do not use liquid or laundry soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.

Our menu offers many of the same delicious entrees as Devil’s Pool and we boast our own great selection of sandwiches, homemade soups and salads, as well as an excellent selection of specialty drinks.

Every evening, we feature local entertainment including one of our very own singing cowboys playing all your favorites. There is comfortable seating indoors or you may choose an outdoor setting on our patio or overlooking the pool.

Devil’s Pool Restaurant
An Ozarks original, the rustic atmosphere of Devil’s Pool Restaurant is perfect for a casual, yet memorable dining experience. Its classic-style lodge architecture, hunting and fishing décor, stone fireplace and hand-wrought metal chandeliers cast a warm glow over antique furnishings and a century-old mahogany bar, creating a relaxed ambiance. The decades-old log structure is steeped in history as rich as the sumptuous desserts prepared by our chefs.

Devil’s Pool provides a casual dining lunch menu and for dinner, the best of southern home-style cooking. We also offer local Ozark favorites like Rockbridge Trout and Hickory Smoked Prime Rib. Our popular Country Fresh Sunday Brunch tops off the week with made-to-order omelets, a complete range of breakfast items, delicious lunch entrees and wonderfully rich desserts. Outdoor balcony seating is a delightful option when weather permits.

Pets
Sorry, pets are not permitted to stay at our resort, however kennels are located nearby. Please contact Guest Services for details. If evidence of a pet is found in your villa you will be subject to a $300 fee.

Smoking
We strictly enforce a no-smoking policy.  A $300 cleaning fee will be applied if smell or evidence of smoke is present in the unit.

Key Card
Should you lose your Key Card, please notify the Guest Services immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. For your safety and security, I.D. will be required to have a new key made. Please return your Key Card to the front desk upon check-out. Please keep your keys away from cell phones for the keys may get de-coded and new ones would need to be made.

Parking
Parking is limited to one parking pass per room. Please have parking pass visible in vehicle at all times when on property. Violators may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Big Cedar Lodge Kids’ Adventure Club
We offer special activities and events for guests age 4–12. At the Kids’ Adventure Club, they can explore, interact and play in an environment that only Big Cedar can offer. Through hands-on outdoor experiences, including hiking, fishing, exploring, crafts and games, children make memories they will never forget while gaining an appreciation of the outdoors. They will enjoy fun-filled adventure as they make friends, learn skills and earn themed adventure badges to go on their very own Big Cedar Junior Ranger vest. Pool towels are provided at all pool sites.No lifeguards are on duty. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Absolutely no glass containers allowed. Per MO State Regulations, NO personal coolers will be allowed in any of the swimming areas. Food & Beverage items will be available to purchase at each location.

You’ll find a full selection of tasty treats, breakfast items, lunches and dinners available for doorstep delivery. We can also deliver box meals to you, for you to take along while enjoying any of our outdoor activities. You’ll find everything from deli meats to smoked tenderloins with provolone.

Safety & Security
Welcome to your home away from home. Vacation is a time for fun and relaxation; however, just like at home, safety and security begins with you. It is our goal that your time spent with us is enjoyable, which also means feeling safe and secure. Here are a few safety tips recommended for you to follow:

Inside Your Room
Keep the deadbolt locked when inside your room. Do not allow strangers into your room. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial “0” and report them to Guest Services. Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures. Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight.

Keys Cards
Keep track of your key card by keeping it with you at all times. Do not give it to others. Return your key cards to Guest Services at your check out time.

On and Off the Property
Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended.
Ask our staff for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to Guest Services.
Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.
For your safety, please stay on walking paths and trails. Do not climb on outdoor displays, rock formations, or landscape structures around the resort.
Wildlife is abundant at the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar; please respect their space and allow them to move about peacefully. Please notify our staff if a situation appears threatening.
If you require a “Sharps Container” please dial “0” and our staff will deliver one to your room.

Tornado Procedures
When a TORNADO WARNING has been issued for TANEY COUNTY, a funnel cloud has been sighted in the area. You should take immediate cover and follow the appropriate  tornado precautions. Weather is monitored locally on channels 3 and 10. Weather is also monitored on a weather alert storm radio.

Tornado Safety Areas
Lodge Buildings: Go to any interior closet or any bathroom without windows.
2 and 3 bedroom Cabins: Go to the guest bathroom/laundry area and close all doors leading to open areas.
Clubhouse: Proceed to the women’s, men’s or family restroom.
Wilderness Falls Pool or Indian Creek Pool: Proceed to the women’s, men’s or family restroom.

If you have a request for emergency assistance, please dial “0” and an operator will assist you.

Evacuation Plan Information
In case of fire, exit through the closest door. Do not use elevator.

If you detect fire or smoke, call “0” for an operator or in the event of an emergency you may dial “911.”
Fire Alarms are indicated by a loud high-pitched beep.
If smoke is heavy, seal door with wet towels. Stay near or lie on the floor where air will be cleaner until help arrives.
Before leaving the room, feel the door to see if it is hot.  If hot, open the doors cautiously and evaluate the condition of the evacuation route. If it appears sage, proceed to leave your room.  Please close door behind you. Be sure to take your room key with you as you may have to re-enter your room if the evacuation path is blocked.
If an evacuation is needed, use main entry door and proceed to a safe location.
Fire Extinguishers are located under the kitchen sink.
If you have a request for emergency assistance, please dial “0” and a Front Desk Associate will assist you.

Fire Safety
While a fire at our resort is extremely rare, we feel it is still very important for you and your family to be mindful of what precautions to take should an emergency arise. Plan your escape!

Upon Arrival
If you have questions or concerns, contact the Resort Guest Services by dialing 0.
Be aware of where the fire alarm, extinguisher and exits are located inside and outside of your unit. Familiarize yourself with the resort fire evacuation plan.
Make sure you know how to turn off your air conditioner.
Keep your villa key card on hand at all times.

In Case of Fire
Remain calm. First notify the fire department (911) and then notify the Resort Guest Services by dialing 0. Identify your name and location, with a brief description of the situation.
Touch your unit door. IF IT IS HOT, DO NOT OPEN IT.
If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to quickly close it if there are flames or smoke on the other side.
If you are able to leave your unit, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm. Predetermine a meeting place so you will know all of your family members are safe.
Do not take the elevator. Use the nearest stairwell or a fire exit.
Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to smoke or odorless carbon monoxide.
If you stay in your unit, make every effort to notify someone that you/your family are inside. If normal communication to 911 or the resort is not available, signal to them by hanging a sheet from your window. Turn off the air conditioner and fill the bathtub with water. Place wet sheets and towels around the door jam. Block any vents emitting smoke. Only open the windows if you are sure you are letting in fresh air. If walls are hot, bail them with water, using your ice bucket to cool them.
If there is smoke in your unit, stay as low as possible and keep a wet cloth over your nose and mouth.
Do not jump. A fall from all the upper floors can cause serious injury; Rather, continue to protect yourself from the fire and signal from your window for help.
If you are in a public area when a fire starts, calmly leave through the nearest fire exit.

Built in the early 1920s as a country retreat for Frisco Railroad executive Harry Worman, The Worman House has been expanded and meticulously restored with the original railroad tie beams and the handmade stain glass windows that honor its place in history. Visit the newly expanded and renovated Truman Café & Custard on your next trip to Big Cedar Lodge for breakfast or lunch, and enjoy some delicious treats and baked goods available all day! This new expansion to one of the original structures on Big Cedar’s property offers an abundance seating while keeping the same charming, 1920’s Tudor-style and quaint appeal of the original Truman House. This updated offering creates the perfect atmosphere for a delicious meal, sweet treat or specialty coffee. Dogwood Canyon Nature Park

 Located just a short drive (approximately 16 miles) west of Big Cedar near the Missouri/Arkansas state line.

• New Mill & Restaurant
  Dogwood Canyon is excited to announce the addition of a new working Mill and Canyon Grill Restaurant, built right on Indian Creek. • Horseback Riding
  Horseback riding at Dogwood Canyon presents an opportunity to experience the park in areas not seen by the tram or from walking and biking trails. Experienced wranglers guide guests on a leisurely ride while exploring ridges, hollows, old logging roads and other scenic views. Age requirements and weight limits apply.
• Trout Fishing
  One of Dogwood Canyon’s greatest appeals is the sparkling, spring-fed water that is home to our magnificent rainbow trout. We offer half-day guided catch-and-release fishing, fly-casting clinics, Orvis-endorsed multi-day fly fishing schools and self-guided catch and release or catch and keep fishing. From the novice to the more experienced, there is nothing like the thrill of hooking a Rainbow Trout. Tackle and rental rods are available.
• Walking and Biking Trail
  Our popular trail is self-guided and follows the canyon floor along paved, gently sloping paths. A printed guide brings your journey to life. Single-speed, coaster-brake bicycles are offered in a variety of sizes.
• Segway Tours
  Modern innovation comes to the wilderness!  Experience many breathtaking sites of the canyon via Segway. Beginner and advanced Segway tours are available.
• Private Guided Jeep Tours

In our quiet cove of sprawling Table Rock Lake, you will find virtually every water sport imaginable, available for all ages and experience levels. Whether you like fishing, cruising, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding, jet skiing or just venturing out for a quiet paddle in a canoe, Bent Hook Marina has it all. Our knowledgeable staff can arrange professional fishing and bow-fishing guide services or set up ski instruction.

• Tracker Boat Rentals*
  You may launch your own boat and moor it in one of Bent Hook’s 100 covered slips or you may rent fully-equipped Tracker bass boats, ski boats and pontoon boats by the hour or by the day. We offer the most state-of-the-art water sports equipment available including wave-runners, tubes, wakeboards, kneeboards and all your skiing accessories. We also have complimentary paddleboats, canoes and kayaks available for you to explore Big Cedar Cove. *Rental availability is subject to change.

And the soaring vaulted ceilings, immense fireplace, two lofts, balcony seating and a cozy lounge area make up the backdrop for many a tall tale of a hole-in-one or monster bass hooked on Table Rock Lake.

End of the Trail All American Wine Cellar
Stroll down the stone-lined stairway and enter the expansive End of the Trail All-American Wine Cellar. Experience the wine tasting bar or relax in the All-American Whiskey Room. We also offer a banquet space with Amish hand-hewn beams and glass doors opening to an infinity pool that appears to flow into Table Rock Lake. This pool features a magnificent “End of the Trail” statue that commemorates Native Americans.
