Press On/Off and press left or right for desired temperature. Make sure the unit is in cool position/ heat position, whichever you desire (75º F – 77º F is a cool temperature.) Do not turn A/C below 75º F as it may cause the A/C to malfunction and stop working. Do not leave any doors open as this will cause the air conditioner to malfunction.
To set the alarm, turn selector on top of Radio to Set Alarm, hold button for hour and minutes to desired time. Select the side alarm button to Radio or Buzzer.
Sit blender container in base, place liquid or soft ingredients into blender and place the lid on securely. Press the desired settings on the panel to start.
Open top of coffee maker. Place filter pack of coffee provided for 10 cups in holder and fill reservoir with water and close lid. Set knob on BREW and push in for ON.
Open dishwasher; place dishes on racks, fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dishwashing powder and slide closed. Close front door and turn button to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.
Locate the fire extinguisher (Studio, One Bedroom and Two Bedroom-underneath the kitchen sink cabinet,). Pull the pin and squeeze handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire. Call 911 and Guest Services at extension 6810.

King 583 offers Valet parking as it is the most affordable and the most convenient way to park. Valet parking is $23/night for Owners and $38/night for Non-Owners. Please Note: Parking is extremely limited and rates are subject to change without notice. Valet service is available between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm if arriving or leaving outside these hours please notify Guest Services by 9:00 pm the evening before. Guests with a valid handicapped decal can receive complimentary parking at the public self – park garage, Midtown Garage, located across street. We cannot accept oversized vehicles (over 7 feet tall), trailers, RVs, or cars with roof-top carriers. Motorcycles are not permitted.
If you prefer, you may self-park. On-street parking is not recommended as the majority of streets have parking meters, loading zones, or are limited to residents with City Parking Permits. If you choose to park on the street, please be aware of the signage around you. If you park illegally, your car may be towed or booted. Street parking is available at your own cost and risk.
For the convenience of other guests and in an effort to help us provide the cleanest and most sanitary accommodations available, pets are not permitted.

Inside Your Villa
• Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
• Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Resort Management.
• Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures. Ensure that they have knowledge of your villa number and location.
• Keep track of your key(s) by keeping them with you at all times. Do not give your villa keys to others.
• Return your keys to the front desk at check out.
• Upon arrival, please locate your fire extinguisher underneath the kitchen sink cabinet.
• Locate the fire exits (inside and outside your villa). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
• Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group.
• Ensure that all key card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
• To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
• First call: The fire department (8 + 911, or 911 on your cell phone).
• Second call: Front Desk at 843.996.4400. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
• If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit. If outside, evacuate to a location that provides a safe distance between yourself, your family and the location of the fire.
• If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
• If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed-upon meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you.
• Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
• Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide and smoke.
If you cannot leave your villa please follow these steps
• If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your villa that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
• Turn off the air-conditioner.
• Fill the bathtub with water.
• Place wet sheets around the door-jam. Block/Cover any vents that are emitting smoke.
• Open the windows ONLY If you are certain you are letting in fresh air.
• If the walls are hot, bail them with water. Use your trash cans to cool them.
• If there is smoke in your villa, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
• DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.
