Air conditioner
Press the On/Off and set to your desired temperature. Do not set the A/C/ temperature below 70 F as it may cause the A/C to stop working.

Clothes Washer
Be careful not to overload the machine. Use one small box of detergent per load. Set load size and desired Wash/Rinse temperatures. Push the knob, scroll to desired settings, then pull the knob to start the wash.

Clothes Dryer
Please clean the lint trap after each use.

Dishwasher
Fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dish washing powder or tabs provided and slide closed. Close door and turn button to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.

Garbage Disposal
Run water and turn on the garbage disposal switch located on the wall behind the sink. Do not put your fingers into the drain/disposal. Do not put metal, glass, bones, tobacco, eggshells or greasy items into the disposal.

Ice Maker
To make ice, place the switch to the on position. To turn off ice maker, place the switch to the off position.

Iron
Fill with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floor.

Microwave
Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside the microwave. Select a temperature between 1 and 11, enter desired minutes and press start. For automatic time, press cook-time, press hour button up/down, and press start time up/down.

Oven
Place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside the oven). Turn knobs to set desired temperature and press start. For timed cook, press cook time, press hour button up/down, and press start time up/down.

Shower
Pull the ring underneath the waterspout and twist to turn the shower on.

Fire Extinguisher
Locate the fire extinguisher (located underneath the counter in the kitchen in most villas, or inside the utility room with washer and dryer in other units). Pull the pin and squeeze handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire. CALL 911

Upon check-in, each reservation requires a major credit card. Guest Services does not accept cash.

Check-in: 4 pm

Key Card
Should you lose your Key Card, please notify the Guest Services immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. For your safety and security, I.D. will be required to have a new key made. Please return your Key Card to the front desk upon check-out. Please keep your keys away from cell phones for the keys may get de-coded and new ones would need to be made.

Parking
A complimentary parking pass is available from the concierge for all registered resort guests. The resort cannot be responsible for items left in vehicles on the property. Boat and trailer parking can be accommodated in our overflow lots. Please see Guest Services for directions.

Pet Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at MountinLoft. But we do understand they are like family. Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding.

Smoking
We are a nonsmoking resort.

A $300.00 Cleaning Fee will be applied if smell or evidence of smoke or pets is present in unit.

Concierge Service
Personalize your vacation with recommendations and ticket assistance to the best activities and entertainment in town.
The concierge is located in the top level of the Clubhouse.

Fitness Center
Located in the Clubhouse. Offering a selection of cardiovascular and weight machines to keep you fit for a day at the pool. Consult your physician prior to beginning any exercise program.

Pools/Spa
Clubhouse pool open year-round, satellite pools open seasonally. Children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. NO lifeguard on duty, so swimming is at your own risk. NO glass in the pool areas please. Pool towels are in your room and your responsibility.

BBQ Grills
BBQ grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Utensils are available at the front desk. Please return grill area to its original condition when finished.

Kids Club Game Room
Treat the kids to an afternoon of fun and entertainment.

Bearly Awake Café Food Truck
Located in front of Ridge Line Pool. Check with Guest Services for hours of operation.

Bearly Par Mini Golf
Come play our beautiful 18 hole mini golf course overlooking Mt. LeConte. Open 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Fire Pit/ Observation Deck
Located beside building 11. Enjoy views of Mt. LeConte while relaxing at our Observation Deck or Fire Pit. Please call Guest Services to have the Fire Pit turned on outside of normal hours.

Inside Your Villa

• Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
• Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Security or Resort Manager.
• Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures.
• Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight. The resort is a “Park at Your Own Risk” property.

Keys

• Keep track of your key(s) by keeping them with you at all times. Do not give your villa keys to others.
• Return your key to Guest Services when you check out or drop your keys in any of our express check-out boxes conveniently located in the garage entrance/exit.

On and Off the Property

• Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended while at the pool.
• Ask our associates for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
• Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
• If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to Security and Resort Management.
• Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.

Fire Safety

• Upon arrival please locate your fire extinguisher. It can be found beneath the kitchen counter.
• Locate the fire alarm and all exits (inside and outside your villa). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
• Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group. The back parking deck is recommended.
• Ensure that all Key Card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
• Add the external resort phone number (865.436.4367) to your cellphone contacts.
• To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
• First call: The fire department (9 + 911, or 911 on your cellphone).
• Second call: Guest Service desk, ext. 0. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
• If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit.
• If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
• If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed upon meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm.
• Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
• Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide.

If you can not leave your room please follow these steps:

• If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your balcony handrail.
• Turn off the air-conditioner.
• Place wet sheets around the doorjamb. Block any vents that are emitting smoke.
• Open the windows ONLY if you are certain you are letting in fresh air.
• If the walls are hot, splash them with water. Use your ice bucket to cool them.
• If there is smoke in your villa, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
• DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.
