Press On/Off and press left or right for desired temperature. Make sure the unit is in cool position/ heat position, whichever you desire (76º F is a cool temperature.) Do not turn A/C below 76º F as it may cause the A/C to malfunction and stop working. Do not leave any doors open as this will cause the air conditioner to malfunction.
To set the alarm, turn selector on top of Radio to Set Alarm, hold button for hour and minutes of desired time. Select the side alarm button to Radio or Buzzer.
Sit blender container in base, place liquid or soft ingredients into blender and place the lid on securely. Press the desired settings on the panel to start.
Open top of coffee maker. Place filter pack of coffee provided for 10 cups in holder and fill reservoir with water and close lid. Set knob to BREW and push in for ON. To open (unlock) the top of coffee carafe, turn lid to the right, to close (lock) the top of the coffee carafe, turn lid to the left.
Washer and Dyers
Available in each guest room.
Open dishwasher; place dishes on racks, fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dishwashing powder and slide closed. Close front door and turn button to desired wash setting. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.
Locate the fire extinguisher (Located in Washer / Dryer Closet,). Pull the pin and squeeze handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire. CALL 911 and Guest Services at extension 6810.
Remove hair dryer from the bag on top of counter. Press the switch to ON position 1 or 2. (Position 1 is low, position 2 is for medium and position 3 is for high.)
Guest Bath Shower
Turn on water by pulling spout and set to desired temperature. Pull the ring above the waterspout to turn the shower on.
To make ice, lower the handle.
Fill the iron with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floors.
Each microwave oven has the specific instructions inside for your convenience. Please follow the instructions provided within the microwave/oven. Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside microwave.

Open oven door and place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside oven.) Turn knobs to set desired temperature. Please do not leave any cooking equipment unattended at any time.

Press the power ON the television or remote. Press the channel up or down.
Place toast or bagel into slot. Set desired color and push down lever. Toast will automatically pop up when ready. For one slice of toast, use the side of toaster labeled “one slice.”

Subject: Missing or Lost Person
Thank you for choosing to spend your vacation with us. We hope you enjoy your stay and take away many cherished memories to reminisce about for years to come. One of our top goals during your stay is the safety of you and your loved ones. Should a child or dependent adult become lost or missing, we would like you to be aware of the proper steps to take. The quicker you act, the better the chances of a faster recovery.
Code Adam is a nationally recognized missing child safety program in the United States and with participation from thousands of department stores, retail shops, shopping malls, supermarkets, amusement parks and museums. The program was named Code Adam in memory of a young child, Adam Walsh, who in 1981 was abducted in Florida. Adam’s father is John Walsh, co-founder of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and host of the television show “Americas Most Wanted.” Bluegreen is proud to add its name to the long list of those participating.
Your Course of Action
If you believe your child is missing, do not panic. Take action immediately. Search the area checking for crawl or hiding places. Children think hiding is a game and hiding places are limitless in the mind of a child.
If you cannot find your child after a thorough search, call Guest Services and report him/her missing. You will be asked to provide the following information:
Guest Services will immediately announce a Code Adam to the Code Adam Team as soon as they receive the report of a missing child. They will provide the team with all the information you have given them. All associates assigned to the Code Adam Team will immediately stop what they are doing and search for the child.
If the child is not found within 10 minutes of initiating the Code Adam, Guest Services will contact local law enforcement to request assistance.
We hope this issue never occurs, but we want you to know the appropriate steps to take and that we will be with you every step of the way.

In an effort to conserve and protect Florida’s natural resources, The Orlando Sunshine Resort is a designated “One Palm” resort from the Florida DEP Green Lodging program! The Florida Green Lodging Program is unique in that it covers an all-inclusive list of environmental initiatives specific to the Florida environment. Here at the Orlando Sunshine Resort we have many Green practices in place which give you the opportunity to participate as well.
We have low-flow faucets and showerheads in all the rooms. We also offer a towel and linen reuse program. If you wish to exchange pool towels, please dial Guest Services at extension 0. If you would like your bath towels exchanged, please dial Guest Services at extension 0.You can help us conserve water by reusing your towels and linens.
All of our lighting is high energy efficient lighting. You can help us stay energy efficient by turning off all lights and appliances when leaving your room.
Recyclable materials are newspapers, magazines, steel and aluminum cans, corrugated cardboard and white office paper. If you would like to recycle any of these items, please use the paper bag provided which is located under the kitchen sink. No need to bag them separately.
