Units have one of two types of Thermostat Controls:
When in A/C mode, we kindly ask that you do not set the temperature below 70 degrees F (20 degrees C), as it will freeze the A/C unit. As part of our greening efforts and to ensure a climate controlled atmosphere in your unit, we ask that your patio sliding glass door remain closed while the A/C is running.
Press the Power button to off, press the clock set/mem button repeatedly, skipping the clock setting process until the alarm set is reached. The Alarm 1 indicator will flash. Press the tuning +/- buttons to adjust the hour/minutes. Press the clock set/mem button to finish setting the time. Press the tuning +/- button to switch between Radio and Beep. Repeat to set up second alarm.
While unplugged, set blender container into base, place liquid or soft ingredients into blender and place the lid on securely. Plug in and press the desired settings on the panel to start.
Open the coffeemaker reservoir cover by lifting it up. Pour in the desired amount of water using the water level indicator located on the side of the coffeemaker. Remove the filter basket by grasping the handle and lifting straight up. Add 1 level scoop (1 tablespoon) of ground coffee per cup. Replace the filter basket in the filter basket holder and press firmly on cover to be sure it closes securely. Make sure the carafe is in position on the heating plate and the top cover is closed (twist top to the left to open and to the right to lock). Turn the function knob to brew, press the On/Off button and the red indicator light will turn on. A starter packet of coffee and condiments have been placed in your unit in the amenity basket. Our Guest Service Team can direct you to several local markets to meet your grocery needs.
Fill main detergent cup located inside of the front door with dishwashing powder provided and slide closed. Close door and turn button to desired wash. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.
Locate the fire extinguisher underneath the counter in the kitchen. Pull the pin, holding the hose, aim nozzle at the base of fire and squeeze handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire. CALL 911 (Dial 9 then 911)
Located under bathroom sink. Press the ON button. If it does not work, try pushing the ‘reset’ button on the plug in the outlet.
Open freezer door and lower metal lever or slide the on/off switch on the side of the ice machine. Ice is also available from the ice machine located in the laundry room on the ground floor in the pool area.
Fill with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floor.
Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside the microwave. Select a temperature between 1 and 11, enter desired minutes and press start. For automatic time, press cook time, press hour button up/down and press start time up/down.
Place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside the oven). Turn knobs to set desired temperature and press start. For timed cooking, press cook time, press hour/minute button up/down, and press start time up/down.
Available upon request from Guest Services. Please return clean mixer promptly when finished as a courtesy to others.
With the mixer unplugged, insert the beaters. Aim beaters into bowl and plug cord into wall. Turn the mixer on to the desired speed. Unplug before ejecting the beaters.
Turn the tub faucet handle to the left until your desired temperature is met. For a shower, push in the water diverter located under the faucet handle until it stops. Rooms 808, 908, and 1008: pull the faucet handle towards you to turn the water on.
Place bread or bagel into slots. Set desired color and push down lever. Toast will automatically popup when ready.

Mail received at the resort may be collected by stopping by Guest Services. For telephone messages, follow the instructions on your in-room telephone plate. You can drop outgoing mail at Guest Services.
A listing of local transportation companies can be found under the “local info” tab. You may also call Guest Services for assistance arranging transportation to local area attractions.
Luggage carts are available at the Yachtsman north or south towers located by the vending machines. Contact Guest Services for assistance with your luggage, ext. 0. Please do not take carts inside unit and return when complete.
Coin-operated machines are located next door at the Yachtsman Resort.
Newspaper machines are available at the Yachtsman Resort near the vending machines.

Sorry, we do not provide daily maid service. Should you need additional cleaning during your visit, we offer the services below. Please call Guest Services to schedule any service needed during your stay. 24 hour advanced notice is required for requested services.
Pool Towel Exchange | No Charge- Pool towels can be exchanged between the hours of 9am and 4pm at our housekeeping office located at the Yachtsman North Tower pool deck.
Trash | No Charge- Please place the green side of the hangtag (located on the bathroom towel rack) outside your door before 11am and leave your sealed trash bags inside by your door. Housekeeping will provide service between the hours of 11am and 4pm. We kindly ask that you do not leave trash bags or boxes in the hallway outside of your unit.
Bath Towel Exchange | No Charge- In an effort to preserve South Carolinas natural resources our housekeeping department does not automatically exchange your towels. Kindly place the tan side of the hangtag (located on the bathroom towel rack) outside your door before 11am to receive service. Housekeeping will provide service between the hours of 11am and 4pm.
Housekeeping Tidy | $35.00 per clean
Includes exchange of bath towels, remaking the bed (linen is not replaced), removing bagged trash, bathroom and kitchen touch up, and vacuuming traffic areas. Please be advised that our staff will not disturb guests’ personal belongings.
Midweek Clean | $50.00 per clean
Includes exchange of bath towels, remaking the bed with fresh linens, trash removal, cleaning and sanitizing the bathroom and kitchen, and vacuuming. Please be advised that our staff will not disturb guests’ personal belongings.

Should you lose your key card, please notify Guest Services immediately so that your lock may be re-coded. For your safety and security, I.D. will be required to have a new key made. Please return your key card to Guest Services upon check-out.
Sorry, pets are not permitted to stay at our resort; however kennels are located nearby. Please contact Guest Services by dialing ext. 0 for a list of Kennels in the area. Service animals are permitted within Federal guidelines. If you utilize a service animal, please inquire with Guest Services about walking areas and access to pool decks. Service animals are not permitted in the pools/spas. Service animals must remain with their handler at all times and may not be left unattended in unit during your stay.
We are a completely nonsmoking resort. We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking in the units and on the balconies. To accommodate the needs of our guests, smoking is permitted in the public areas surrounding our property. There is a $300 charge to guests who do not comply with our smoke-free policy.

Swimming Pool | 9 am – 10 pm
There is an indoor and seasonal outdoor heated pool. Please note there is no lifeguard on duty, and adults must supervise children. For safety, absolutely NO glass bottles or containers are allowed on the pool decks. Safety equipment and life preservers should never be used for play.
For your convenience, Housekeeping has provided your villa with 4 pool towels in a tote bag for your family. A $25.00 charge per towel and $6.00 charge for the bag will be assessed to your bill for towels or bags not left in your villa upon checkout. Please call Guest Services at extension 0 if you need further assistance.

Internet access is available with our compliments in the Lobby. Usage is on a first-come, first-served basis and for 15-minute intervals. An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 14. There are two loading and unloading areas located on either side of SeaGlass Tower in front of the Yachtsman North and South buildings. There are two surface lots located across the street and a 2-story parking garage one block back. All lots have detailed signage. Please hang your parking pass from your rearview mirror and ensure all vehicle doors are locked and valuables are secure. SeaGlass Tower and Bluegreen Vacations are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please refrain from parking in nearby city metered parking spaces or private parking lots without paying as you are subject to fines and/or your vehicle may be towed at your expense. SeaGlass Tower cannot assist with fines and tow fees resulting from inadequate payment/parking.
Beach Chair/Umbrella Rental
Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to be rented directly from the lifeguards on the beach. Contact Guest Services at ext. 0 for more information.
SeaGlass Tower is giving back to the community. Each month we not only donate money and supplies but we also donate our time to charities like Backpack Buddies and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. You can help too by donating your unopened, non-perishable food items. Food Donations will be gladly donated, on your behalf, to homeless shelters and children’s afterschool programs across Myrtle Beach. Simply bring the items down to the lobby upon departure for placement in our Food Donation box.
