Upon arrival, you will receive a Parking Pass from Guest Services. Please display the pass inside your vehicle during your stay. Parking is available around each resort building. On site parking is at no charge. One vehicle per unit.Smoking
Smoking is NOT allowed in any guest rooms or interior areas. A $300.00 fee will be charged for smoking in the rooms.A $300.00 Cleaning Fee will be applied if smell or evidence of smoke or pets is present in unit.

Pools
Indoor Pool hours: 8 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Outdoor Pool hours: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty, and adults must supervise children. For safety, absolutely no glass bottles or containers are allowed on the pool deck. Safety equipment and life preservers should never be used for play. The Outdoor Pool and Hot Tub are seasonal and usually open Late May thru Labor Day. (Swim diapers are required on all children not potty trained).Game Room

Located on the 1st floor of building 2 just off the elevator. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Located behind building 1. Chairs provided for your comfort. Please no cooking on the fire pit.Inside Your Villa
- Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
- Do not allow strangers into your villa. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Guest Services or Manager.
- Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures.
- Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight.
Keys
- Keep track of your key by keeping it with you at all times. Do not give it to others.
- Return your key to Guest Services at your check-out time.
On and Off the Property
- Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended while at the pool.
- Ask our associates for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
- Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
- If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to management.
- Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.
Fire Safety
- Upon arrival please locate your fire extinguisher. It can be found beneath the kitchen counter.
- Locate the fire alarm and all exits (inside and outside your villa). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
- Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group.
- Ensure that all Key Card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
- Add the external resort phone number (1.717.534.2003) to your cellphone contacts.
- To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
- First call: The fire department ( 911, or 911 on your cellphone).
- Second call: Guest Service desk, ext. 0. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
- If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit.
- If you are inside your villa, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
- If you are able to leave your villa, remind everyone of the agreed-on meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm.
- Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
- Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide.
If you can not leave your room please follow these steps:
- If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
- The windows at The Suites at Hershey DO NOT open, however; in case of a fire break the window and hang a sheet outside of it. This will notify the fire department that there is someone in the room.
- Turn off the air-conditioner.
- Place wet sheets around the doorjamb. Block any vents that are emitting smoke.
- If the walls are hot, bail them with water. Use your ice bucket to cool them.
- If there is smoke in your suite, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
- DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.
Your vacation villa includes the following amenities:
Air Conditioner
Automatic: Adjust Up or Down arrows to your desired temperature. Do not set the A/C temperature below 65 F as it may cause the A/C to stop working. If any door is ajar, the air conditioner will turn off automatically.Clothes Dryer
The dryer is located on the top of the clothes washer. Open the door and load the dryer with clothes (Do not overload). Set the dryer and press the start button to begin. Clean the lint trap after each use (lint collector is located on the inside back wall of the dryer.)Clothes Washer
The washing machine is located below the dryer. Lift the lid and load the machine with clothes (Do not overload). Pour the desired amount of detergent (1 small bag of detergent per load). Set load size and then set desired the wash/rinse temperatures. Push in the knob and scroll to the desired settings and pull to start the wash. Washer will not operate with lid open.Coffee Maker
Fill the water reservoir to the number of cups you would like to brew. Add ground coffee. Add one tablespoon of coffee per cup. Coffee provided by the resort comes inside a filter and will brew 12 cups. Turn the function knob to brew and press the ON/OFF button. The blue indicator light will turn on. If brewing less than 5 cups, press the 1-4 cup button. When the brewing cycle has completed, 5 beeps will sound. To dispense coffee, place cup in the dispenser area. Press lever down to dispense coffee. To turn off machine, press ON/OFF button again.Dishwasher
Open the dishwasher; fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dishwashing powder and slide closed. Close front door and turn button to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap.DVD Players on Demand
DVD Instructions and TV Troubleshooting: To change the input on the TV’s, Press the INPUT BUTTON located above the CHANNEL + BUTTON until desired input is selected (Normally AV2). When the desired input is selected, press the CHANNEL + BUTTON.Garbage Disposal
Run the water and turn switch on the wall. Do not put your fingers into drain/disposal. Do not put metal, glass, bones, tobacco, eggshells or greasy items into disposal.Hair Dryer
Remove hair dryer from the bag located behind the bathroom door. Press the switch to the ON position 1 or 2. Position 1 is for low and position 2 is for high.Ice Maker
To make ice, lower the handle or press on/off button on unit.Iron
Fill the iron with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or floors.Microwave
Open the door and place food inside on the glass plate (Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside microwave.) Set Micro 1-11 and enter desired minutes and press start. For automatic time, press cook-time, press the hour button up/down and then press the start time up/down button.Oven
Open the oven door and place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside oven.) Turn knobs to set desired temperature and press start. For timed cook, press cook time, press the hour button up/down and press start time up/down.Shower
