Air Thermostat
Select heat/cool and press up or down for desired temperature. Select Auto or On. Do not turn A/C below 72 degrees as it may cause the unit to malfunction and stop working. To ensure your desired result keep all doors and windows closed while A/C is on. Be sure to make sure the unit is in Cool or Heat if a temperature change is desired. To set the alarm, press and hold the sleep button and set the time you want the alarm to go off. Slide the alarm selector to Radio or Buzzer.Blender
While unplugged, set blender container into base, place liquid or soft ingredients into blender and place the lid on securely. Plug in & press the desired settings on the panel to start.Coffee Maker
Insert filter in the top opening by sliding to the right. Empty entire contents of coffee provided and close the lid. Packet makes 10 cups. Life the back opening and fill with water. Press On/Off.Dishwasher
Fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dish-washing powder or tabs provided and slide closed. Close door and turn button to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.Fire Extinguisher
Locate the fire extinguisher in your unit hall closet. Pull the pin and squeeze handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire. If unable to contain the fire CALL 911 (Dial 8 then 911)Hair-dryer

Fill the iron with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Please use the ironing board for all ironing.Microwave
Open the door and place food onto the glass plate. (Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside microwave.) Press cook time then enter desired minutes and press start.Mixer
With the mixer unplugged, insert the beaters. Aim beaters into bowl and plug cord into wall. Turn the mixer on to the desired speed. Unplug before ejecting the beaters.Oven/Range

- Energy Efficiency: You can help us stay energy efficient by turning off all lights, electronics, and turning up the thermostat when leaving the room.
- Recycling: Via Roma offers recycling for the following items; newspapers, magazines, aluminum cans, white office paper, plastic bottles and glass bottles.
- Clean Air Practices: All units are Non-Smoking. The resort also uses environmentally friendly cleaners and environmentally preferable air filters in all the units.

Your safety and security is our highest priority. Please make sure your door is securely locked when you leave. Via Roma Beach Resort is participating in an effort to help conserve water and provide you with a more environmentally friendly resort. We offer you the option of reusing your towels and linens. On Wednesday’s at 11am we offer a towel exchange. Place any towels you would like to exchange in your laundry basket outside of your unit for replenishment.
Pool Towels
Pool towels are not exchanged during your stay. You may wash them as you see fit or dry them on the drying rack provided in your room. Please do not place towels over the railings.
NOTE: The only exception is if you are staying 2 or more weeks. Please make arrangements with housekeeping.
Maid Service
Guest staying 6 or more days will receive a maid service between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm on Tuesdays for units 1-15 and Wednesday for units 16-28. Maid service consists of trash removal, wiping down bathroom surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming, and changing sheets. Housekeeping with not remove personal items from surfaces, so if you would like this service please remove your items prior to 10 am on your assigned day. This includes the bed as well. Personal pillows and blanket, etc must be removed. Please note this service is done separately from your towel service. Your towel service will be preformed first, then your maid service.
If you would like to receive an additional maid service during your stay, there is a $55 charge payable in advance.

Swimming Pool & Spa | open until Midnight
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty, and adults must supervise children. For safety, absolutely NO glass bottles or containers are allowed on the pool deck. Safety equipment and life preservers should never be used for play. Please note the maintenance team reserves the right to close the pool and spa at anytime for your safety.Pool Towels
For your convenience, Housekeeping has provided your unit with 4 pool towels if in a ONE bedroom and 6 pool towels if in a TWO bedroom. Any missing or damaged towels will incur a $15 charge. **Please note that these towels are non-exchangeable during towel service.Restaurant

There are two gas grills located by the spa and one gas grill located behind the Garden Building. Grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please return the grill to its original condition when finished for other guests to use. **You must turn the timer on the gas tank on before you are able to light the grill**Laundry Facilities
Our laundry facilities are located behind the Garden Units on a first come, first served basis.We urge you to adhere to these basic rules. Please brief everyone in your party as to the following Via Roma Rules and Regulations.
- Quiet time is from 10:00PM to 9:00AM. Please respect the rights of others.
- The pool and Jacuzzi are open until midnight. The security officer reserves the right to ask any persons in the pool/Jacuzzi after hours to vacate the pool area.
- Glass containers of ANY kind are not allowed in pool or pool area.
- Infants and toddlers in diapers must wear tight-fitting rubber or plastic pants when in the pool. We suggest a minimum age of 14 allowed in the Jacuzzi. Please use our Jacuzzi wisely as the temperatures could be unsafe for children.
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the pool and pool area.
- No inflatable objects are allowed in the pool, except the items we provide.
- You may not reserve pool furniture by placing a towel on it. Pool chairs are to be kept on the pool deck at all times.
- Hanging towels or any other items over the walk-way railings is prohibited.
- Please do not block the walkways outside your units with coolers, chairs, toys, drying racks, etc.
- No pets are allowed. If a pet is found it must be removed and a $150.00 fumigation fee will be assessed. Service dogs are not considered pets.
- Maximum unit occupancy limits: One bedroom (4) individuals, two bedroom (6) individuals.
- Your parking permit must be displayed at all times. We do not give out more than one parking pass per room.
- To maintain an even cooling temperature in your unit on warm days, and to avoid a/c problems, please set the thermostat no lower than 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Please keep doors and windows closed when using the air conditioner.
- There is not smoking in the units. You are permitted to smoke outside your unit or in designated areas. Smoking around the pool is permitted but please be considerate. A fine of $100 per day will be levied for violating this policy.
Welcome to your home away from home. Vacation is a time for fun and relaxation, however, just like at your home, safety and security begins with you. It is our goal that your time spent with us is an enjoyable one, which also means feeling safe and secure. Here are a few safety tips we’d like you to follow:
Inside Your room
- Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your room.
- Do not allow strangers into your room. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial Ext. 0 and report them to the office. If after hours please call our nighttime security at 1-904-253-0287 6PM-8AM
- Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures. Ensure that they have knowledge of your room number and location.
- Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight. The resort is a “Park at your own risk” property.
Keys
- Keep track of your key(s) by keeping them with you at all times. Do not give your room keys to others.
- Return your keys to the Guest Services at check out.
On and Off the Property
- Never leave your wallet, keys, purse, or other valuables unattended.
- Ask our staff for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
- Instead of carrying cash, we recommend that you use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
- If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to the front office
- Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Always be aware of your surroundings.
Fire Safety
- Upon arrival, please locate your fire extinguisher in the hall closet.
- Locate the fire exits (inside and outside your unit). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
- Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group.
- Ensure that all key card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
- To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
- Remain calm. If the fire is beyond control please evacuate immediately. The smoke detector sounds only in your unit. It is NOT connected to a central system.
- First call: The fire department (8+ 911 from the room, or 911 on your cell phone).
- If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit. If outside, evacuate to a location that provides a safe distance between yourself, your family and the location of the fire.
- If you are inside your unit, touch the unit door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
- If you are able to leave your unit, take your key, close the door behind you and proceed to a safe place.
- Use the nearest stairwell located at either end of the building.
- Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide and smoke.
If you cannot leave your room please follow these steps:
- If neither landlines nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
- Turn off the air-conditioner.
- Fill the bathtub with water.
- Place wet sheets around the door-jam. Block/Cover any vents that are emitting smoke.
- Open the windows ONLY if you are certain you are letting in fresh air.
- If the walls are hot, soak them with water to cool them.
- If there is smoke in your suite, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
- DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.

Safes are located in the hall or bedroom closet. To operate the safe please follow these instructions:- Place items to be secured into the safe. Do not over fill the safe- make sure the door closes easily.
- Close the door and hold shut.
- Enter and 4 digit code and press the “#”.
The safe will display “–CLOSE-“as the motor is locking the door. When door is completely closed the safe will display “–CLOSED-“.
To open the safe:
- Enter the same 4 digit code. The safe will display “-OPEN-“, this indicates the safe door is unlocking. The safe will display “-OPENED-“when you are able to open the door.
- After 4 wrong attempts to open the safe within 15 minutes the safe will enter the HOLD status for 15 minutes. The safe will display “-Hold15-“during the hold status and cannot be overridden. You must contact the front desk to manually open the safe.
