Select heat/cool and press up or down for desired temperature. Select Auto or On. Do not turn A/C below 72 degrees as it may cause the unit to malfunction and stop working. To ensure your desired result keep all doors and windows closed while A/C is on. Be sure to make sure the unit is in Cool or Heat if a temperature change is desired. The fan function only circulates the air.
To set the alarm, press and hold the sleep button and set the time you want the alarm to go off. Slide the alarm selector to Radio or Buzzer.
While unplugged, set blender container into base, place liquid or soft ingredients into blender and place the lid on securely. Plug in & press the desired settings on the panel to start.
Insert filter in the top opening by sliding to the right. Empty entire contents of coffee provided and close the lid. Packet makes 10 cups. Life the back opening and fill with water. Press On/Off.
Fill main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dish-washing powder or tabs provided and slide closed. Close door and turn button to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.
Locate the fire extinguisher in your unit hall closet. Pull the pin and squeeze handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire. If unable to contain the fire CALL 911 (Dial 8 then 911)
Remove hair-dryer from the wall. Press the ON button, the select high or low. If it does not work, try pushing the ‘reset’ button on the plug in the outlet.
Your refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker. To make ice, lower the handle or make sure the switch is on.
Fill the iron with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Please use the ironing board for all ironing.
Open the door and place food onto the glass plate. (Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside microwave.) Press cook time then enter desired minutes and press start.
With the mixer unplugged, insert the beaters. Aim beaters into bowl and plug cord into wall. Turn the mixer on to the desired speed. Unplug before ejecting the beaters.
Place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside the oven). Turn knobs to set desired temperature and press start. For timed cook, press cook time then use up/down buttons for desired cook time then press start.
Place bread or bagel into slots. Set desired color and push down lever. Toast will automatically popup when ready.

After Hours Emergencies
Your safety and security is our highest priority. Please make sure your door is securely locked when you leave. For resort emergencies after hours please call our nighttime security service at 1-904-253-0287 6 pm to 8 am. Emergencies are considered lockouts, flood, fire, etc. Non-emergencies will be handled the following morning.

Please bring your confirmation information to Guest Services and the associate will print out your boarding pass.

Mail may be placed in the mailbox outside of the office. Be sure to do so before 11 am.
A flashing light on your telephone indicates a message is waiting. To retrieve messages Dial 250 and follow the prompts. 1 = yes, 2 = no.
Newspaper machines are available outside of the office free of charge.
Our Housekeeping Department takes great pride in the quality of their work in your unit. We are dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. If, for any reason, our cleanliness does not meet your satisfaction, please call Guest Services by dialing Ext. 0 or 200, so that we may correct any deficiencies.
Via Roma Beach Resort is participating in an effort to help conserve water and provide you with a more environmentally friendly resort. We offer you the option of reusing your towels and linens.
We do provide a complimentary daily towel service including towel replacement and trash removal between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm. We will only replace the towels left on the floor. A “Towel on the rack” means you will use it again.
Pool towels are not exchanged during your stay. You may wash them as you see fit or dry them on the drying rack provided in your room. Please do not place towels over the railings.
NOTE: The only exception is if you are staying 2 or more weeks. Please make arrangements with housekeeping.
Guest staying 6 or more days will receive a maid service between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm on Tuesdays for units 1-15 and Wednesday for units 16-28. Maid service consists of trash removal, wiping down bathroom surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming, and changing sheets. Housekeeping with not remove personal items from surfaces, so if you would like this service please remove your items prior to 10 am on your assigned day. This includes the bed as well. Personal pillows and blanket, etc must be removed. Please note this service is done separately from your towel service. Your towel service will be preformed first, then your maid service.
Please let Guest Services know if you would not like to receive linen change or towel service during your stay by dialing Ext. 0 or 200. If you would like to receive an additional maid service during your stay, there is a $40 charge payable in advance.

Each registered unit will receive one parking permit upon check-in. Any vehicle in our parking lot without a permit will be subject to towing at owner’s expense. Boats, trailers and RVs are not allowed in the parking lot.
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on site. Service animals, however, are permitted. Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding.

Please note there is no lifeguard on duty, and adults must supervise children. For safety, absolutely NO glass bottles or containers are allowed on the pool deck. Safety equipment and life preservers should never be used for play. Please note the maintenance team reserves the right to close the pool and spa at anytime for your safety.
For your convenience, Housekeeping has provided your unit with 4 pool towels if in a ONE bedroom and 6 pool towels if in a TWO bedroom. Any missing or damaged towels will incur a $15 charge. **Please note that these towels are non-exchangeable during towel service.

The front office has several board games and movies that you may check out at no charge during office hours. There is a selection of books in Guest Laundry that you may borrow or trade for one that you have just finished reading.
There are two gas grills located by the spa and one gas grill located behind the Garden Building. Grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please return the grill to its original condition when finished for other guests to use. **You must turn the timer on the gas tank on before you are able to light the grill**
