Activity Board

Complimentary items are available for self check-out at the Activity Board located at the front of the Clubhouse area.
This includes sporting equipment for tennis, horseshoe, shuffleboard, tennis, and pickle ball.
The tennis table is located by the Clubhouse.
We offer outdoor life-size chess an checkers which is located by the recreational area next to building 6.
Relax and get cozy by the fire pit also located next to building 6.

Additional items are available to check out 24 hours such as board games, grill sets, and DVDs.

 Daily Activities

Please visit Guest Services or Concierge to receive information for our ongoing activities, we may also be reached at the desk by dialing “0” on the room phone.

Air Conditioner
Press the On/Off and set to your desired temperature. Do not set the A/C temperature below 70 F as it may cause the A/C to stop working. If any door is ajar, the air conditioner will turn off automatically  Please dial “0” for further information as needed.

Clothes Washer
Be careful not to overload the machine. Use one small pack of detergent per load.  Set load size and desired Wash/Rinse temperatures. Push the knob, scroll to desired settings, then pull the knob to start the wash.

Clothes Dryer
Open the door and load the dryer with clothes (do not overload). Set the dryer and press the start button to begin. Please clean the lint trap after each use.

Dishwasher
Fill the main detergent cup located on the side of the front door with dish washing powder or tabs provided and slide closed. Close the door and turn the button to desired wash. Slide the lever to start the dishwasher. Do not use liquid soap, as this will cause the dishwasher to overflow.

Shower
Pull the ring underneath the waterspout and twist to turn the shower on.

Iron
Fill with water and turn the knob to the desired temperature. Use the ironing board for all ironing. Do not iron on beds, tables or the floor.

Microwave
Do not place cups of water, foil, metal or plastic inside the microwave. Select a temperature between 1 and 11, enter the desired minutes and press start. For automatic time, press cook-time, press the hour button up/down and press start time up/down.

Oven
Place food inside on middle rack. (Do not place paper products or plastic inside the oven). Turn knobs to set the desired temperature and press start. For timed cooking, press cook time, press the hour button up/down, and press the start time up/down.

Garbage Disposal
Run water and turn on the garbage disposal switch located on the wall behind the sink. Do not put your fingers into the drain/disposal. Do not put metal, glass, bones, tobacco, eggshells or greasy items into the disposal.

Hair Dryer
Press the switch to the ON position to 1 or 2. Position 1 is low and position 2 is high.

Ice Maker
To make ice, lower the silver handle. To turn the ice maker off, raise the silver handle.

Mail and Messages
Mail received at the resort may be collected by either calling or stopping by Guest Services. For telephone messages, dial 5 and follow the instructions on your in-room telephone plate. You can drop outgoing mail at Guest Services.

We take great pride in our work. If for any reason you are dissatisfied please dial 0 and let us know how we can correct the deficiency. We do not provide complimentary daily maid service but do have the following options available. To arrange one of these services, dial 0.

Towel Exchange  (Not offered at this time)

• Towel replacement is provided complimentary.  Dial “0” from your unit and we will deliver fresh!  You may also exchange at Guest Services located in the Clubhouse!

Tidy-Up Service: $30-One Bedroom;  $35-One Bedroom Deluxe & $40-Two Bedroom

Upon arrival, each reservation requires a major credit card for a $100 pre-authorization.

At the time of departure,place all trash in the trash room found on every floor directly behind the elevator. Recycling bins are located in the trash room on the ground floor of each building.

Parking
Upon arrival, you will receive a Parking Pass. Please display the pass inside your vehicle during your stay. Parking is available around each resort building. On site parking is complimentary, one vehicle per unit. The resort prohibits parking of boats, RVs and trailers.

*Pet Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Grande Villas at World Golf Village^® , but we do understand they are like family. Please contact Guest Services for information about pet boarding. We strictly enforce a no pet policy.

*Smoking
Smoking is permitted in outdoor common areas only (including balconies where available).  Smoking is prohibited in the swimming pool & hot tub.

World Golf Village is pleased to offer a variety of resort activities to make your vacation experience even more enjoyable.

Fitness Center | Open 24 hours 
Located near the pool next to the Clubhouse. No one under the age of 16 is permitted to use any fitness equipment without an adult present. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.

Pool & Hot Tub | 8 am – 11 pm
Our spectacular heated pool and hot tub are located just outside the Clubhouse. No smoking or vaping permitted in pool/spa area.

Activities Equipment & Outdoor Games
Sporting equipment and outdoor games are located on the wall outside the Clubhouse.  Simply utilize the equipment you require and return once completed!  No sign in or out!  Please notify Guest Services of any damages or replacements required for the next Owners use.

Located by the basketball courts and next to building 6. Gas grills are available. Visit Guest Services to check out grilling utensils. Please return grills to original condition.

Inside Your  Suite

• Keep the dead bolt locked when inside your villa.
• Do not allow strangers into your Villas. If someone’s identity seems suspicious, dial 0 and/or report them to Guest Services or the Manager on duty.
• Never leave your children unattended. Familiarize them with their new surroundings and other safety procedures.
• Make sure to lock your vehicle and take all valuable items inside with you and/or store them in your trunk out of sight.

Keys

• Keep track of your key by keeping it with you at all times. Do not give it to others.
• Return your key to Guest Services at your check-out time.

On and Off the Property

• Never leave your wallet, keys or purse unattended while at the pool.
• Ask our staff for the most direct driving directions when preparing to travel to attractions.
• Instead of carrying cash, use a credit card or traveler’s check when making large purchases. Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.
• If you see any activity that appears suspicious, please dial 0 and/or report it to management.
• Pay attention to when and where you are walking or parking. Be aware of your surroundings.

Fire Safety

• Upon arrival please locate your fire extinguisher—it can be found beneath the kitchen counter.
• Locate the fire alarm and all exits (inside and outside your suite). Make sure everyone in your group knows those locations.
• Familiarize yourself and your group with the resort fire evacuation plan and agree on a meeting place where you can account for everyone in your group.
• Ensure that all key card holders keep their cards with them at all times.
• Add the external resort phone number (904.940.2000) to your cellphone contacts.
• To operate the fire extinguisher, pull the pin and squeeze the handle. Spray back and forth in a sweeping motion at the base of the fire.
• First call: The fire department (9 + 911, or 911 on your cellphone).
• Second call: Guest Service desk, ext. 0. Identify yourself and your location and briefly describe the situation.
• If you are in a public area, calmly leave through the nearest exit.
• If you are inside your suite, touch the villa door. If it is hot, DO NOT OPEN IT. If the door is cool, brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. Be prepared to close it quickly if flames or smoke are on the other side.
• If you are able to leave your suite, remind everyone of the agreed-on meeting place, take your key, close the door behind you and sound the nearest alarm.
• Use the nearest stairwell or fire exit. DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR.
• Crawl or keep low to reduce exposure to odorless carbon monoxide.

If you cannot leave your room please follow these steps:

• If neither landline nor cell service is available, signal to those outside your room that you are inside by hanging a sheet from your window.
• Turn off the air-conditioner.
• Fill the bathtub with water.
• Place wet sheets around the doorjamb. Block any events that are emitting smoke.
• Open the windows ONLY IF you are certain you are letting in fresh air.
• If the walls are hot, bail them with water.
• If there is smoke in your villa, stay as low as possible and keep your nose and mouth covered with a wet cloth.
• DO NOT JUMP unless instructed by fire safety officials prepared to catch you. Otherwise continue the actions prescribed above and signal from your window for help.
